Professional Jeweller is pleased to announce the appointment of Stacey Hailes as its new assistant editor, adding a new facet of journalistic talent and retail jewellery expertise to the team.
Stacey will assist editor Sarah Louise Jordan with all aspects of Professional Jeweller magazine, including our stand-out website, professionaljeweller.com, and quarterly manufacturing supplement BenchPro.
She will also assist with Professional Jeweller’s campaigns and initiatives, including Collections of the Year and Shop Floor Stars, and the Professional Jeweller Hot 100 2015, due to take place in September.
Stacey previously worked at Swag Jewellers in Croydon, where she received extensive retail and brand training from some of the UK’s most knowledgeable jewellery industry experts. It is here that her passion for jewellery developed – something she hopes to expand upon in her new role.
Additionally, Stacey acted as the deputy editor of Sorted magazine, proving her ability as a news and features writer.
She explains: “I am so excited to be joining the Professional Jeweller team. I look forward to expanding my knowledge of the industry and meeting the many people who make this trade such a success.”
Editor Sarah Louise Jordan adds: “It is so exciting to be able to add such a talented individual as Stacey to our growing team here at Professional Jeweller. Her background, not only as a journalist, but in a jewellery retail environment, will bring a refreshing new dimension to Professional Jeweller HQ, and I look forward to introducing her to the trade at upcoming buying events and trade shows.
“2015 is an incredibly exciting year for Professional Jeweller, especially with the launch of our new title, The Luxury Report, which will analyse the fine jewellery sector for the trade.”
Stacey will take care of all new product-based stories, trend features and news. If you have anything you would like to share with her, please email Stacey.firstname.lastname@example.org
