The UK jewellery industry boasts of a high number of innovative and inspiring individuals who are pushing boundaries and playing their part in keeping business booming even during more difficult times on the high street.
To recognise this, Professional Jeweller is delighted to announce the launch of its inaugural ‘Power List’ — a celebration of individuals from jewellery retailers and suppliers who are blazing a trail in the market.
The Power List is aimed at recognising those who are playing a major role in promoting innovation, championing customer service and pioneering unbeatable after-sale service.
This could include anyone from the owner and CEO of a jewellery retailer with multiple regional showrooms to an admin assistant working in the back office of a single-site jeweller who is integral to the business.
From high-profile MDs to some of the unsung heroes of the UK jewellery industry, the Power List seeks to shine a light on the many stars that are really helping to make a difference to the industry.
And the good news is that the industry can play a part in deciding which individuals are considered for inclusion in this year’s Power List! Those who wish to nominate somebody they know simply need to fill in a very simple entry form giving a few details about what makes that individual stand out.
The Power List will be split into the following categories:
– Retail Titans
Jewellery store owners, managers and directors inspiring their organisations
– Brand Champions
Innovative managers and directors transforming the branded-jewellery market
– Inspiring Independents
Individuals playing their part to drive business on the British high street
– Market Movers
Professionals pushing new boundaries for brands and suppliers in the trade
– Rising Stars
Emerging stars and unsung heroes of the UK jewellery industry
Commenting on the launch of the 2019 Power List, Professional Jeweller editor, Stacey Hailes, remarks: “Wherever you look in the country there are examples of jewellery retailers and suppliers doing a fantastic job for their customers. Whether it’s the personal service they offer, the care and attention they pay to helping customers find the right solution or their appetite to provide as much product choice as possible, they are at the forefront of the ever-changing retail landscape. The Power List is an opportunity to recognise some of the individuals behind those organisations and highlight the commendable and tireless work they do.”
