Professional Jeweller has launched its second annual Collections of the Year 2015 publication, marking its inaugural round-up of the 50 bestselling and most popular jewellery collections launched in the UK this year.

Covering 10 categories including luxury jewellery, fashion jewellery, emerging designers and ethical jewellery, Professional Jeweller‘s Collections of the Year presents one winning collection and four highly-commended ranges in each category.

A nominations process was opened in October this year, welcoming hundreds of submissions from brands, retailers, buyers and PR companies, each presenting their best-loved and most commercially successful collections launched from January 2015 onwards.

Finalists were then shortlisted by a panel of journalists and top UK jewellery buyers and for the first time since the launch of Collections of the Year, the winners were decided by a week long public vote on

The Collections of the Year 2015 public poll attracted just shy of 3,000 votes. Some categories such as Wedding Band Collection of the Year, had extremely tight runs, with brands competing neck and neck right up to the final moment. Others such as Men’s Jewellery Collection of the year and Charm and Bead, had clear winners that swallowed up as much as 75% of the total votes.

Some might say that a public vote turns the initiative into a popularity contest, and we would wholeheartedly agree. This contest seeks out collections that have the power to sell, and what better way to test brand engagement than a public vote?

Now without further ado, Professional Jeweller can reveal to you the 10 winning ranges and highly commended Collections of the Year. Share your favourites and comments on social media using the hashtag #PJCOTY.
