Pulse Tech UK revenue soars past £1m as Jewellery Box site grows

E-tailer Pulse Tech UK has seen its revenue grow 53% to £1.1 million since the launch of its flagship website, jewellerybox.co.uk in June 2014.

Professional Jeweller Hot 100 Retail Star 2014 and jewellerybox.co.uk managing director, Alex McMillan, explains: “We had built a great base with our previous websites, so we were super excited about the launch of jewellerybox.co.uk last year.

“Our first sale came within minutes of the website going live, and we have been sprinting to keep up since then.”  The site offers a large range of over 2,000 sterling silver and 9ct gold earrings, necklaces, bracelets and charms all packaged beautifully in stamped craft packaging.”

31-year-old McMillan (pictured) now oversees a 14-strong team at his company’s South London base. He hopes to increase his online offer of sterling silver jewellery, while focusing on a London pop-up shop and European expansion in the near future.

He says: “We are launching a further 600 new lines in July. Our product data team is literally working around the clock.”

Pulse Tech (UK) Ltd was formed in 2008 and owns and operates silver charm and charm bracelet outlet TheCharmWorks and luxury cufflinks and silverware retailer Sayers London.
