Independent fashion and accessories retailers invited to enter.
Fashion trade show Pure London will celebrate leading independent retailers with its new Best of British Awards.
Organised by i2i Events Group, the event is searching for the best independent retailers from across the UK and Republic of Ireland with a focus on fashion-forward clothing and accessories.
Presented in partnership with the Fashion Association of Britain (FAB), the specialists fashion division of the British Independent Retailers Association (bira), the Best of British awards will celebrate the successes of these Indies, giving recognition to their hard work across all aspects of their business. This includes their dedicated buying teams, customer service, store merchandising and online offering (applicable).
Pure London portfolio director Julie Driscoll, commented: “Independent retailers are the dynamic lifeblood of Pure London, representing almost 80% of our 11,000 strong audience each season. They are the most diverse, creative, committed and customer-oriented group of individuals and we are delighted to celebrate their contribution, region by region with these new awards at Pure London.”
Split across 10 categories, the awards will be divided by region with the exception of a dedicated Footwear Retailer of the Year award, which will span across all regions.
The nominations process is open now via the Pure London website, and these will be open to everyone, including independent retailers who are able to enter themselves for the award.
Entrants will be asked to answer a series of questions about their company to enable the judges to understand its vision, values and achievements.
The initial round of entries will close on Friday January 9 2015, when a panel of judges – including representatives from both Pure London and FAB – will compile a shortlist of finalists who will be invited to attend the official awards event on Monday February 9 2015.
Pure London will take place from February 8-10 2015 at London Olympia, welcoming over 800 brands across womenswear, footwear and accessories. Jewellery brands currently scheduled to exhibit include Ottoman Hands, Tatty Devine, Orelia and Estella Bartlett
