PGI’s Laura Hurst scoops prize for fastest 10 laps.

Professional Jeweller Hot 100 technology partner Pursuit gave partygoers the chance to win an iPad at Tueaday’s invite-only Hot 100 party, with guests showing off their driving skills on six-lane scalextric track.

The winner of the competition with the fastest time for 10 laps around the track was Laura Hurst, the Platinum Guild International’s UK marketing and communications manager, who clocked in with a speedy time of 56 seconds.

Hurst was given a trophy on the night of Hot 100 party, where she dominated the scalextric field, taking on competitors from Hot 100 gold partner Tresor Paris among others. She struck a pose with her trophy in homage to Usain Bolt.

Mike Burns, managing director of Pursuit, said: "Pursuit were pleased to be involved with the Hot 100 event for the first time and thought it was very well attended.

"The location offered for the Pursuit product was extremely good and added to the growing awareness of Pursuit’s newest product Lifestyle."

Burns added that the party had been an ideal opportunity to meet new contacts as well as catch-up with old acquaintances.

"The Professional Jeweller team should be very proud – a big thank you from Pursuit for asking us to be a part of a such an event," Burns added.

Pursuit also showcased its LifeStyle system at the party, having showcased its POS technology at IJL this week.
