TV retailer adds sparkle to the stage as it pushes brand at Christmas.
QVC has become the official jewellery supplier to pantomines around the country, providing them with items from its simulated diamond line Diamonique
The TV retailer is hoping that the jewellery will inspire those attending the pantomines to buy into the brand for Christmas presents this year.
The first pantomime to open that has been supplied with Diamonique jewellery was Cinderella in Worthing, which opened its doors this weekend. The next to open was Cinderella at the Manchester Opera House starring former Hear’Say member Suzanne Shaw, which also opened this weekend, followed by Cinderella at The Camberley Theatre in Guilford, which opens this week.
QVC Diamonique jewellery buyer Emily Gilkes said: “By supplying the nation’s Cinderellas with stunning jewellery, we can show shoppers how easy it is to catch Prince Charming’s eye this Christmas. After all, there’s no better place to show off our range than on real life princesses.”
To promote the pantomime campaign Louisa Lytton, who is playing Cinderella at The Camberley Theatre will appear on QVC on December 21.
