Raw Pearls releases first online training video comparing natural and synthetic pearls

Pearl jewellery supplier, Raw Pearls, has released the first instalment of its online training programme, Pearl Academy.

Raw Pearls, based in both Somerset and London, says the training series will supplement its in-store training by giving free access to accurate short video sessions.

The series adds a significant strand to the family-run company’s educational platform.

Miranda Raw, director of Raw Pearls, said: “We are committed to providing our clients with all the tools they need to successfully sell our product instore and online.

“We focus on partnering with our clients to make their pearl businesses work for them. Filming, editing and producing these freely accessible videos is a significant contribution the trade more broadly and we are not aware that anything in this format currently exists.”

Chapter one is available now and looks at the differences between natural, cultured and synthetic pearls.

The company was also recently shortlisted for the NAJ’s Jewellery Supplier of the Year 2018, and featured in Professional Jeweller’s Collection of the Year for the last two years.

Raw Pearls offers a broad variety of freshwater, Akoya, Tahitian and South Sea pearl jewellery, including diamond-set pearl jewellery, all at arrange of price points.
