British jewellery brand Astley Clarke continues to be a market leader, with designs and styles often ahead of the curve and executed with intricate details, which cannot be compared.
Genevieve Schwartz is a designer at Astley Clarke and therefore deserves recognition for the brand’s success in the market.
Rising through the ranks from jewellery design intern to jewellery design assistant to junior designer and, since last summer, designer, Schwartz has been with the company for just over three years.
In her current position she cultivates four new collections a year from conception to development to the final product and the company relies on her to get the brand aesthetic across in every piece.
During her time with the brand she has modernised lockets to become the bestselling and fastest growing category for Astley Clarke.
Schwartz is able to create successful collections in both gold plated silver and solid 14ct gold and diamonds.
Launching soon will be a selection of diamond rings that interlock to create one big statement ring, a new innovation for Astley Clarke that will see the brand enter the engagement category.
As well as designing the jewellery Schwartz is also responsible for display props and packaging design, coming up with new ways to show the jewellery and improve the packaging to become more eco conscious.
