Bridal means big business for Domino Jewellery, and the company wouldn’t be where it is today without a strong team working hard behind the scenes.
In 2014, Mark Wright stepped out of university with a degree in MSci Physics and said ‘I do’ to a job at Domino Jewellery.
Since then, Wright has remained committed to the company he started his career with, and the jewellery manufacturer couldn’t be more please he’s stayed.
Wright’s talent and enthusiasm was noted early within his career at Domino and he was promoted to his current role of ‘wedding ring cell administrator’ after just eight short months. In this role, Wright oversees the wedding ring orders going through manufacturing, and introduces new programming to the company’s machinery.
During his time as wedding ring cell administrator, Wright has introduced a range of new processes and technologies, which have reduced machining times by more than 64%.
Wright has also applied critical evaluation to drive manufacturing efficiencies at ground level within the wedding ring cell, with outputs increasing by over 100% in the first quarter of 2019 compared to the same period in 2018. Furthermore, his focus and determination has enabled Domino to increase its UK wedding ring capabilities and capacity.
Mark Wright is a critical and valued member of the Domino team, and is one of the great unsung heroes of the UK jewellery industry.
