April event to be co-hosted by Bharat Diamond Bourse.

The bustling Indian metropolis of Mumbai will play host to the Responsible Jewellery Council’s 2015 Annual General Meeting in April, with the Bharat Diamond Bourse expected to play a joint role in proceedings.

The AGM is a three day event designed to engage local and international stakeholders, including RJC members, government, media and banks, and launch the next phase of the “RJC journey in the strategically important Indian market”.

The formal Annual General Meeting will include an open conference session on April 13 with presentations by Richemont, Signet, De Beers, other leading Indian members and existing RJC members who will share their experience being an RJC member.

The conference will be followed with a Q&A where attendees will have plenty of opportunity to ask burning questions, share industry observations and exchange best practices.

As part of the 2015 RJC AGM, international guests will also have the opportunity to visit diamond and jewellery factories in Mumbai and Surat, India’s busy commercial centre for textiles and diamonds, to get better acquainted with this growing market for fine jewellery and watches.
The 2015 RJC AGM will take place from April 13 to 15.
