Luxury jewellery shopping channel Rocks & Co. is on the hunt for new talent to fill a variety of positions as its studio moves to Birmingham.

The company will be hosting a recruitment registration evening on Monday July 20 at Fazeley Studios in Digbeth between 5.30pm and 8.30pm.

Positions available include television presenters, producers, broadcasting crew, customer service representatives and supervisors, logistics managers and operatives.

Rock & Co aims to increase engagement with its current audience and change the perception of television shopping. It also wants to reach out to a broader audience of savvy shoppers and the wedding and engagement market, inspiring them to recognise the brand as a go-to retailer of high quality pieces at a fraction of high street prices.

Rocks & Co. is a falling-price auction-style home shopping channel and currently broadcasts live from 8am to 11pm daily on Sky, Freesat and Freeview channels, reaching over 19 million homes.

As part of major expansion plans, Rocks & Co., is going through a large scale rebrand and relocating to Fazeley Studios close to Birmingham’s historic jewellery quarter.

Managing director, Richard Northall, says: “As we are part of a larger international company, we are able to offer better quality gemstones at reasonable prices, and Rocks & Co. employs 60-70 people in the UK, so we give our customers a more personal and friendly service.

“Our customers buy from us because they like our jewellery and they like us too. Birmingham has such an historic connection with the jewellery industry and is a vibrant, creative hub, so we’re confident that this is the perfect location for our company to continue to flourish.”

The move to Birmingham’s vibrant centre allows the growing company to attract the best people for a number of roles, both in front of and behind the camera. The central location also enables the business to take advantage of the convenient transport hub and affords links with creative local talent.

Anyone interested in applying for one of the above positions is encouraged to send their CV and a covering letter to Fazeley Studios, 191 Fazeley St, Digbeth, B5 5SE, outlining which position they are interested in. For further information, visit
