Rox has made a way for online shoppers to virtually walk through the doors of the luxury retailer’s Edinburgh and Glasgow boutiques with the use of 360° technology.
Rox strives to give their customers the ultimate ‘Diamonds & Thrills’ shopping experience from the moment they walk into a Rox boutique. Recently, the team has been experimenting with new opportunities to further extend this experience to their online customers.
Rox is well known for its flagship destination boutiques complete with ‘Thrill Room’, private lounge seating and Laurent-Perrier champagne bars. Rox has now opened the doors to everyone online by offering a 360° virtual tour of the company’s Edinburgh and Glasgow boutiques via Google Street View.
Similarly, the Rox team recently filmed a 360° video of its Edinburgh Fringe event for the retailer’s Facebook page to give customers who couldn’t attend a taste of the party. The video has currently attracted over 2,000 views and Rox plans to experiment with similar videos for all of the brand’s big events going forward.
“At Rox, our vision is to provide an inspiring and exciting shopping experience as soon as you walk into one of our boutiques,” says Rox managing director Kyron Keogh. “We want to showcase as many aspects of that in-store experience to our online customers as possible.”
He continues: “By experimenting with 360° video and images, we can offer a more immersive online experience and connect with existing and potential customers in an innovative and engaging way.”
