Dorset-based Forum Jewellers welcomed over 80 guests to a pearls and prosecco evening put on with supplier, Claudia Bradby Jewellery.

The namesake founder of the pearl jewellery brand, Claudia Bradby, has a mantra is that every woman should be afforded the luxury of wearing beautiful pearl jewellery every day, in every way, and this was the inspiration behind by the ‘Pearls and Prosecco’ event.

Guests on the night got to meet Claudia Bradby and hear her personal story of how the brand started and why she believes pearls are the most powerful of all gemstones.

As well as learning about why pearls matter and some of the iconic women who have worn them, guests were also told about how pearls are cultivated and valued, and what inspires Claudia Bradby designs.

Furthermore, a raffle with the top prize of a Claudia Bradby pearl pendant in aid of Forum’s chosen charity for 2019, Forest Holme Hospice, raised £330.

Forum’s director, Helen Molloy, shares: “We are always looking to do something a little different for our customers and were delighted that Claudia was able to join us for this really special evening. We love her designs and passion for pearls. Our guests really enjoyed trying on pieces from Claudia’s exclusive collections, and sales on the evening far exceeded our expectations, as did the raffle sum for Forest Holme.”

Claudia Bradby launched the Pearls and Prosecco evenings in 2017, with many retailers enjoying the opportunity to host an intimate and informative customer event.

“Thank you to Helen and her team for organising the most amazing evening,” adds Claudia Bradby. “It was really lovely to meet so many people who were so strongly attached to Forum Jewellers and there was a great community spirit. They understood so much about pearls and were interested and engaged in my talk. The evening was a fabulous success.”
