Range of bangles are first non-Shamballa lines to sell at its store.
Shamballa Jewels, creators of the iconic bead bracelet design, has joined forces with the Nelson Mandela Foundation to sell a collection of jewellery in support of the fight against HIV/AIDS.
The move marks the first external brand to be sold at Shamballa’s flagship store in Copenhagen. The bangles feature the number 46664, Madela’s prisoner number, and are crafted in gold and platinum.
They are sold to support Mandela’s efforts against HIV/AIDS and each bangle is made by skilled African craftsmen who are themselves affected by HIV/AIDS.
As a part of the brand’s charitable efforts, Shamballa Jewel says it "will actively promote and help sell the bracelets". All proceeds from the sales will go to the Nelson Mandela Foundation.
