Sheffield family jeweller to close doors as owner retires

Sheffield family-run jeweller James Hadley Fine Diamonds has announced its intentions to close permanently due to the retirement of owner Roger Coward.

The business was started in 1958 by Leslie Cass, going by the name Leslie Cass Jewellery.

In 2013, Roger Coward took over the business which was renamed James Hadley Fine Diamonds.

The jeweller has begun a 50% off sale, it said, to thank its many loyal customers across Sheffield and beyond.

It said the sale will be ongoing until all stock is gone, with many pieces advertised on the company’s Facebook page.
