Mosaic jewellery brand signs Asian distribution agreement.

Italian jewellery brand Sicis, famed for its use of micromosaic in jewellery, is set to open a showroom in Beijing following the signing of a distribution agreement for Asia.

The 600sqm space will open in October. Sicis is working with Di Lusso Gaopin Design Co. Ltd. on the store and local distribution.


The space is situated on the third floor of a building in the heart of Beijing and will be split into numerous rooms that "present the magical universe of mosaic art".

The space will feature two mains areas. The first boasts marble floors, delicate floral mosaics on the walls, and Sicis Next Art furnishings including sculptured chairs inlaid mosaics, and matching mirrors, tables and lamps.

The second area is made up of libraries of mosaics in marble, glass and other materials, designed for private customers.

An floor will be decorated with a large mosaic depicting a dragon on a background of red, black and gold, purposely designed for the Beijing store in tribute to Chinese culture.

A statement from Sicis said: "Through the partnership with Di Lusso Gaopin Beijing Design Co. Ltd, Sicis sets out to strengthen and further consolidate the company’s reputation, synonymous with quality, research and Italian creativity, in Beijing, displaying brand new mosaics and presenting a heterogeneous and imaginative collection inspired by the magic of the Orient."
