When Professional Jeweller announced the news that Pandora had extended its lucrative Disney contract to all European markets, our traffic spiked.
Customers rejoiced because they no long had to travel half way around the world to collect the magical range, and retailers knew straight away that the collaboration of a jewellery giant and iconic global brand could only spell good things, and they were right!
When we launched the Collections of the Year nomination process, the Pandora X Disney collection had only been in stores for a week but already stockists were emailing in to mention their soaring sales.
One claimed it to be the biggest launch they’ve ever seen in stores, while another said consumers were queuing outside the doors before the shop even opened.
It’s safe to say Pandora has struck gold once again. Available throughout the UK, the range offers charms shaped like classic characters, bracelets with subtle Disney adornments, and, for the first time, individual enchanting petite elements.
Disney motifs in the debut range include Minnie and Mouse, Mrs Potts and Chip from Beauty and the Beast, Bambi and Frozen’s much-loved character — Olaf.
