Back in 2019 Goodman Bros launched LOX Hygiene seals. Specifically designed for earrings they enabled sellers to comply with Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Since then, the seals proved to be increasingly popular with both high street shops and online sellers.
Encouraged by their effectiveness in increasing sales and reducing returns, Goodman Bros were asked if the seals could be adapted for use with other jewellery items. Hence the recent introduction of the LOX Hygiene Integrity Seal.
Now the seal can be used with not only earrings but many other types of jewellery including pendants, chains and watches.
LOX Hygiene Integrity Seals give the consumer confidence and trust that the item has not been previously worn. This is especially true now we are living with COVID-19.
Customers love the idea that the seals are in place for their protection and give greater buying confidence. As before, once removed the Hygiene Integrity Seal cannot be refitted, providing clear evidence that the item could have been worn.
Jewellers have reported to Lox that customers are usually happy to pay an additional small charge for the seals to be fitted. They see it as insurance that the item is brand new, clean and returnable.
