Crisp new-look site designed to compatible with smart devices.

Rudell the Jeweller has unveiled a new-look website that it hopes will act as a further shop front, with improved smart phone and tablet compatibility.

The new site has been created under the eye of Rudells’ website manager Melanie Ricks, who has worked with the store’s sales executive Daniel Johnson in order to produce a site that “oozes the quality for which Rudells are renowned”.

Ricks and Johnson’s ideas for the site were executed by Origin Media, a design agency based in the West Midlands, with the aim of making the Rudells website more suitable for viewing on smartphones and tablets. Visitors can view the shop’s ranges online, browse its annual catalogue and glance through blog posts.

Rudell managing director Jon Weston told Professional Jeweller: “We wanted our website to reflect the quality of our business by being an extension of our shop windows and social media activity. We were keen for our website to be responsive so it could be viewed on all today’s smart devices.

“We love the light, crisp new look we have created and we hope our clients and prospective clients will enjoy viewing our stunning jewellery and watches.”

The creation of the new site follows Rudells launching a smartphone app in April 2013, enabling users to read up on the Four Cs, use a ring sizing guide and discover the history of Rudells at the swipe of a finger.
