New line inspired by a woodland walk near designer’s Somerset home.
Art and nature-inspired jeweller Sonya Bennett has launched a new collection called The Fox in the Bluebells for SS12, referencing the flowers and foxes – a follow-up to her last collection featuring owls.
Bennett’s new collection is said to have been inspired by a spring time walk in the woods near her Somerset homewhere she caught a glimpse of a fox with her cubs, hiding and playing in the bluebells. The new collection is a continuation of her Woodland range, said to have become a bestseller, featuring stag and doe necklaces and acron pendants.
Bennett launched the new collection at The Jewellery Show last month and says it received "great acclaim". The collection includes pieces in silver and gold vermeil, and blue iolite stones to reference the blue of the flowers.
