The inaugural Professional Jeweller Awards is set to skip the weekend spell of rain with forecasts of clear skies and toasty weather for the biggest night in the industry’s calendar.
The BBC is currently forecasting evening temperatures of 18 degrees Celsius with a gentle breeze and plenty of sun.
More optimistically the Met Office is expecting temperatures of 20 degrees heading into the awards, so either way the two most trusting sources are promising the perfect weather for the inaugural Professional Jeweller Awards.
With the spectacular Kensington Roof Gardens providing the setting for this year’s big night, and tickets selling out fast (we are almost at full capacity!) everything is in place to kick off the awards, with sponsors MelanO, Chimento, Ti Sento, 3D Systems and Nomination expected to dazzle the assembled guests.
Professional Jeweller editor Stacey Hailes comments: “The one thing you can’t control is the weather, but I am so pleased the sun is expected to shine and present the perfect temperatures for a sizzling summer barbecue.
“The votes have been counted, the trophies have been engraved, tickets have been flying off the shelves like hot cakes, and we are ready to treat the industry to the most glamorous industry night of the year. See you all Monday!”
For those who have not bought tickets yet, limited places are still available and include a three-course barbecue, free-flowing drinks and a front row seat to the live reveal.
