T H Baker has signed up to use a new Bransom system called bsmart to help it with its expansion plans during the coming year.

At present the retailer runs 21 stores across the UK and will take on the bsmart system to continue a growth drive.

Twenty jewellery suppliers are already using the system. It can provide a stream of information about stock including current prices and images of pieces, removing the need to manually update stock information.

The programme was initially developed in a collaboration with Pandora and is now used at TH Baker’s 10 Pandora concept stores and a further 11 of its T H Baker branded jewellery stores.

Phill Higgs, director at T H Baker, said: “We tried a few products on the market, but there simply isn’t another system on the market that can cope with our diverse structure and demands on stock ordering and distribution.”

The retailer plans to use the system to help them improve their accounts department, in turn saving them money and improving the standard of management information.

Chris Garland, managing director at Bransom, added: “We are so pleased that before investing in their future they took the opportunity to fully research the market place and chose the bsmart system on merit.”
