First day at Somerset House from brand new trade exhibition.
Brand new jewellery and watch trade show The Jewellery Show London opens its doors today at Somerset House in the heart of the city.
This is the inaugural London exhibition from the same team at i2i Events that runs The Jewellery Show in Birmingham in February.
The exhibition will last two days and boasts an exhibitor list of more than 90 companies, spanning a wide range of sectors including brands, designers, service providers and organisations.
At a launch party for Jewellery Week at The May Fair in London last night Jewellery Week managing director Della Tinsley described the trade exhibition as being "the most significant part of Jewellery Week this year".
As part of Jewellery Week 2012, the trade-only show is located within the grounds of Somerset House, a location that will offer a multi-level, intimate atmosphere for jewellery buyers.
As well as exhibitors there will also be a programme of seminars that will be held at a dedicated theatre within the space and there will be catwalk shows running throughout the exhibition.
