Thor & Wistle expands following 330% web growth


London retailer to introduce new designers and extend store in 2014.

Shoreditch jewellery retailer Thor & Wistle has revealed plans to extend its brick-and-mortar store and increase its designer offer in 2014.

The store, run by jewellery designers Kamilla Thorsen and Rachel Entwistle, introduced six new brands in 2013 – Dominique Lucas, Jana Reinhardt, Kasun, Pearl & Queenie, Peculiar Vintage and Smith/Grey – each of which are said to have contributed to the store’s best Christmas so far, with web sales up 330% in particular.

Looking ahead, Entwistle and Thorsen have said they are looking forward to working with new brands that fit the store’s ethos, with new designers set to be announced in 2014.

The bricks-and-mortar store will also be extended in the coming year, with plans to increase the shop floor space in order to accommodate more new designers as well as Thorsen’s own brand Dynasty and Rachel Entwistle growing own-name collection.

Thor & Wistle’s in-house design studios are currently undergoing expansion and will also double in size.
