Swiss brand hosts ‘widest selection’ in first UK standalone venture.
Tissot will push its Christmas sales next month with the opening of a standalone space in North London’s Brent Cross shopping, in what will mark the Swiss watch brand’s first retail venture in the UK.
The brand will host a “boutique kiosk” measuring 12m square in the centre, opening in the first week of December. It will showcase the UK’s widest selection of Tissot timepieces in one place.
The space promises to have “eye-catching displays and a modern interior”, with glossy and matt surfaces, back-lit walls and large-scale black and white prints of Tissot’s new advertising campaigns, which includes its ambassador Nicky Hayden.
A highlight of the selection will be the brand’s new Racing Touch timepiece with 11 functions and there will be pieces from the new ladies’ Couturier range with four different colours of strap and diamond-set bezels.
Tissot will be joined at Brent Cross by CK watches, another Swatch Group brand.
