Warwickshire jewellers Tustains has announced plans to triple the size of its showroom as part of a major investment planned for the summer.
The company, which has been based in Leamington for over 120 years, will undergo a significant expansion this year in a move which is expected to create several new jobs for the town.
The independent, family-run business will revamp its watch showroom after experiencing an increase in demand for its Swiss and luxury watches.
Work on the refurbishment is expected to start in July and the four-week refit will help the business continue to grow and create more space to accommodate its expanding product range.
Tom Milner, co-director of the Regent Street jewellers, says: “This is a very exciting time for Tustains and we are delighted to be able to announce a major investment in our Leamington store, which once completed will create a small jobs boost for the town.
“Last year, we identified a real need to expand our offering as part of our ongoing partnership with the world’s leading luxury watch brands. Sales have been particularly strong and this investment will ensure that we remain at the forefront of the industry.
“We will be tripling the size of our showroom, creating more space to accommodate the world’s very best brands. This development not only helps us to grow as a business, but it also cements our commitment to the town.”
Milner adds: “Tustains has a long and proud history spanning 120 years. We want to ensure that we continue to grow and this investment will ensure that we do.”
