An unnamed UK retail multiple saw a 183% increase in sales of fashion jewellery brand Carat* London across its sites last month.
The news comes as Carat* reported its sales were up 20% overall on last year as it experienced a bumper trading period over Christmas.
Its silver ‘millennium bracelet’ was particularly successful and sales of its Stella Collection (pictured) have been “exceptional”, the brand reported.
Carat* has three new collections launching in the spring and another three capsule collections will launch for the summer season.
Founder and CEO Scott Thompson said: “2016 was by far our best year to date despite challenging market conditions. We’re the talk of the trade with our exciting new fashion collections. Stella, Noa and Serpentine collections, defined the continued evolution of Carat* London.”
The brand also announced it will continue to be the official jewellery partner to the BAFTA Television awards in May for the seventh year and will continue to support the arts in the UK.
