Bespoke fine jewellery brand Vashi has launched its new editorial series, Voices, to mark the upcoming International Women’s Day on 8 March.

The brand said that, in honouring the date, it wanted to hear from extraordinary women who have a strong voice in their chosen field.

It has therefore invited Lizzy Hadfield, Sharmadean Reid MBE and Sarah Ann Macklin to be the first three faces of its new editorial series, Voices.

They shared their stories, speaking about female empowerment, and – with Mother’s Day approaching – modern motherhood.

In addition to its work with Hadfield, Read and Macklin, Vashi has partnered with an all-female creative team to bring the campaign to life, working with Laura Coulson (photographer), Chloe Press (stylist), Yumi Nakada Dingle (hair), Celia Kay Burton (makeup artist) and Ama Quashie (manicurist).

Sharmadean Reid is an author and CEO of Beautystack and founder of WAH London. She commented: “I often see something in my mind, and if it doesn’t exist, I feel compelled to build it. I haven’t started lots of businesses, but everything I’ve done is about achieving equality for women.”

Lizzy Hadfield is a fashion blogger and content creator at @shotfromthestreet, documenting her everyday life in street-style shots. She talked about the power of female conversation: “The most powerful thing about blogging and influencing is how diverse the space can be. I’ve met so many extraordinary women that I wouldn’t have met otherwise.”
