Vicenzaoro announces new dates for September show

Vicenzaoro January 2019_2

As work is in full flow in preparation for Vicenzaoro September, show organisers, the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), have unveiled sparkling new details about the upcoming edition.

A series of new entries are on the cards for the end-of-summer edition, starting with the new dates. This year the show will, in fact, be held two weeks earlier, from September 7-11, to avoid overlapping with international fashion dates, thus making it easier for operators from both of these increasingly more connected sectors to attend.

Also new, even if it has been in Vicenzaoro’s DNA for some time, is the show’s transversal theme: ‘Spreading Sustainability’. This will be developed at the VISIO:NEXT SUMMIT, the opening round table of international experts, as well as during programmed events throughout the days of the show. Vicenzaoro aims to be more than just a trade show, where the most relevant topic’s for the entire industry’s evolution are discussed. Sustainability is a hot topic right now, which is gaining more and more press, and therefore needs to be addressed by the trade.

Furthermore, the upcoming edition will pay tribute to Palladio and the role it plays in the artistic-cultural world.

Alongside new initiatives, visitors can expect to see leading suppliers in a layout that has been perfected over the years.

Jewellery trends have always played an extremely central role at Vicenzaoro, and therefore  ‘The Design Room’, the exhibition concept devoted to high range designers and located inside the ICON community, will be back, alongside the presentation of the detailed TrendBook.

Visibility given to the watch world will also be increased and, in the wake of its considerable success at the last autumn edition, ‘The Watch Room’ will return and be positioned in the central colonnade of the LOOK district hall dedicated to fashion jewellery.

Technology, which has also been part of Vicenzaoro September since last year with T.EVOLUTION, a project dedicated to companies specializing in the design, production and sale of small, high-tech machinery and tools for the jewellery sector, will once again be present and further enriched.

Lastly, significant focus will once again be placed on training at VOS 2019. During the fives days of the show, visitors at Vicenzaoro will be offered a full programme of events, congresses and seminars on highly interesting and topical subjects for the entire sector, which will be revealed over the coming months.
