Prince Charles, a longstanding honorary member of the Goldsmiths’ Company, has given the opening address at this year’s Goldsmiths’ Fair, its first ever virtual event.
The Goldsmiths’ Fair Digital will run from today, 24 September, until 6 October.
On its website the fair is described as “a unique selling event, showcasing the work of a selection of some of the most talented established and emerging fine jewellers and contemporary silversmiths creating and making in the UK today”.
The Goldsmiths’ Fair Instagram account posted about Prince Charles’ address, writing: “Thank you very much to His Royal Highness and the team at Clarence House.”
