The Watches of Switzerland Group, parent company of royal jeweller Mappin & Webb, has announced that it will be introducing a new ‘By Personal Appointment’ service as a safety measure in the face of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Effective immediately, customers will be able to access a real-time booking system online via brand websites – Goldsmiths, Mappin & Webb and Watches of Switzerland.

Through the website they can arrange an appointment with their chosen store, and indicate their chosen time and appointment format. These include in-store, telephone and virtual Zoom appointments.


Clients can also describe the nature of their appointment in advance, enabling colleagues to prepare in advance and offer a completely personal service.

The company said it will still offer walk-in appointments where possible.
