Industry professionals can put forward their own companies, or nominate another firm they greatly admire, before the deadline on Friday, May 31.
Taking place at Lord’s Cricket Ground on Monday, September 2 (the second night of International Jewellery London), the 2019 Professional Jeweller Awards promises to be a memorable night as we celebrate the achievements of the UK jewellery industry across 17 exciting categories.

To have your say, simply email Professional Jeweller editor Stacey Hailes at stacey.hailes@itppromedia.com with the headline PJ AWARDS. Please include the following:
– Name(s), job title(s) and company name(s) of those being nominated.
– The categories you are putting nominations forward for.
– A bullet point list of reasons why you are nominating them. Please be brief but provide insight focusing info on events in the last 12 months, such as business growth, store expansion, store openings, new product development, effective new strategies or their contribution to the wider industry.
There is no limit to how many nominations you can put forward. Nominations will close midnight on Friday, May 31.
WHAT ARE THE CATEGORIES?
This year we will be honouring companies in the following categories:
RETAILER CATEGORIES:
Independent Fashion Jewellery Retailer of the Year (fewer than 5 stores)
Retailers in this category have to be independently owned, operate ten or fewer stores, and trade mainly in fashion and lifestyle jewellery brands priced at under £1,000.
Independent Fine Jewellery Retailer of the Year (fewer than 5 stores)
Retailers in this category must be destination jewellery boutique businesses with fewer than five stores, that excel in sales of fine jewellery priced at over £1,000.
Multiple Fashion Jewellery Retailer of the Year (5 or more stores)
Retailers in this category have more than 10 stores, and trade mainly in fashion and lifestyle jewellery brands priced at under £1,000.
Multiple Luxury Jewellery Retailer of the Year (5 or more stores)
Retailers in this category must be destination jewellery boutique businesses with more than five stores that excel in sales of fine jewellery priced at over £1,000.
Branded Jewellery Boutique of the Year
Finalists in this category present the essence of their brand in their own physical stores.
NEW: Digital Innovator of the Year
Retailers in this category are embracing digital trends and being innovative online to bolster business.
Most Innovative Customer Event of the Year
This category honours an event which has been lucrative for jewellers.
Best New Store or Store Refurbishment of the Year
Retailers in this category have opened a new store, or revamped a current one, in the last 12 months to meet new consumer demands.
NEW: Retail Leader of the Year
This award will shine a light on an individual blazing a trail in the retail market.
Supplier categories:
Fine Jewellery Brand of the Year
The finalists are fine jewellery brands (producing items crafted from gold and platinum, and adorned with gemstones and diamonds) operating in the UK that have demonstrated they have the best products, sales, support, service, and marketing this year.
Fashion Jewellery Brand of the Year
The finalists are fashion jewellery brands operating in the UK that have demonstrated they have the best products, sales, support, service, and marketing this year.
Emerging Jewellery Brand of the Year
Finalists in this category have entered the UK market in the last two years and successfully opened doors, built brand awareness and secured sales.
Jewellery Industry Supplier of the Year
This category is for jewellery industry suppliers operating in the UK that have demonstrated they have the best products, sales, support and service this year.
NEW: CSR Jewellery Supplier of the Year
This category honours jewellery businesses showing co-operate social responsibility.
NEW: Product Launch of the Year
We will be celebrating the most innovative new product of 2019.
Jewellery Designer of the Year
Finalists in this category are jewellery designers operating in the UK that have caught the industry’s attention with innovative designs.
Young Jewellery Designer of the Year (under 30)
The finalist in this category are young designers/ emerging designers under 30 years old, operating in the UK and producing innovative products.
