Houlden Group’s autumn suppliers meeting comes to a close today (Friday, 3 September 2021) at the grand East Sussex National Hotel, set against the backdrop of England’s South Downs.

The two-day event sees Houlden Group’s jewellery retailer members meet with a huge selection of suppliers for perhaps the first time since before the pandemic.

One of the first industry dates in the calendar since ‘freedom day’, the networking event includes seminars on a number of topical and sometimes controversial topics.

The main attraction, though, is the two-room setup, allowing Houlden’s retail members to explore many of the products their supplier counterparts are offering ahead of the fourth quarter.

There was also an evening meal at the East Sussex National on the first day (Thursday, 2 September 2021).

Some of the dozens of suppliers with stands at the event include: Natural Diamond Council, Domino Jewellery, Gecko Jewellery, WOLF, Green Rocks Created Diamonds, Ntinga, Hockley Mint, Matt Aminoff, Gemex, Yoko London and many more.

This follows Houlden Group’s earlier summer meeting for jewellery retailer members only, in which it was intended would be shared ‘war stories’ from business owners’ experiences of the pandemic.
