One of the UK’s leading jewellery suppliers ventured into fine jewellery this year with the launch of a debut gold range for its 20th anniversary.
Celebrating the milestone at International Jewellery London, Unique & Co wanted to do something new and special. Judging from its early success, it is clear retailers in the UK were more than happy to welcome Unique & Co’s gold offer.
In the first two months the supplier opened over 50 accounts for the gold collection, with sell-through in shops being very positive and resulting in good reorders.
With the line, Unique & Co believes it is bridging a gap in the market for accessible, branded fine jewellery goods. Overall, the collection offers value for money, with RRPs ranging from £45-£219, and designs that are modern and striking, yet timeless.
Founder, Daniel Ozel, says: “The feedback for this collection was really incredible and we are ourselves are a little bit surprised by its success.”
If retailer feedback and strong sales didn’t prove going for gold was a positive move for the jewellery supplier, the astounding support in the Collections of the Year public vote should convince you. As soon as the poll went live, votes came flooding in the Unique & Co’s Gold range. While all the other brands got a similar amount of nominations, Unique & Co swallowed 66% of the votes.
