Jewellery sculptors create awards for last night’s gala.
Jewellery sculptors and Professional Jeweller Hot 100 NexGems Yunus & Eliza have been commissioned to create the awards for a gala ceremony for Women For Women International.
The event, hosted in partnership with fashion magazine Harpers Bazaar, took place last night, with gongs going to several influential women including Nadja Swarovski.
The jewellery-making duo were commissioned by Women For Women, and said the design “combines our signature sculptural style with slick Perspex bases, silver etched details and reveal how our work blurs the boundaries between fine art and fashion”.
Yunus & Eliza have recently finished working as part of a team casting a figurehead sculpture that will be positioned on the front of the Queen’s Jubilee boat, which will be part of the flotilla taking to the Thames later next month.
They are also set to take part in a documentary and have increased their stockists internationally, with their work now sold through Luisa Via Roma in Florence, Antonioli in Milan, I.T in Hong Kong, Impression Boutique in Qatar and The Sanderson Hotel in London.
