World’s first wedding retail department store to open in London


A permanent wedding retail, planning and inspiration destination is set to launch in London, featuring a bespoke jewellery offering.

Located within one of the capital’s most lauded wedding and events venues, One Marylebone, the wedding department store looks to provide an end-to-end wedding planning experience, curated by leading industry experts.

Named The Wedding Gallery, the store aims to guide brides and grooms through the entire wedding planning process in one space – saving the time and money visiting a variety of stores in different towns and cities.

Tthe retail space will double as an exclusive member’s club for the wedding industry offering meeting rooms, a multitude of event spaces, a café/bar and library as well as playing host to regular trunk shows and networking activities.

By appointment only, consumers will have access to the collections of up to 200 brands. Overall, the store will feature a beauty, hair and makeup studio and will showcase vendors including venues, cake makers, stationers, florists, caterers, a gift lists provider, photographers, filmmakers, honeymoon destinations and entertainers, alongside providing a service for consumers to shop bespoke jewellery designs.

Clients will be able to visit The Wedding Gallery in a number of ways to soak up the atmosphere and browse the curated list of wedding suppliers and fashion brands. Entry is free of charge and visitors will have the option of taking advantage of the in-house expert team, where they will be able to book a 90- minute appointment with a Wedding Gallery Consultant who will guide them through the space and the wedding planning process. These appointments will be charged at £50 and will include a glass of bubbles for up to four people.

Elsewhere in the fashion departments, clients can book 60-minute appointments with a Wedding Gallery Stylist. Charged at £30 stylists will offer advice about a carefully selected range of bridal and menswear designers. There will also be focused consultations available for additional services such as bespoke jewellery design, honeymoon planning and gift list building.
