Award-winning product designer Mine Bilgutay-Ozkurt has launched a fashion jewellery brand called Anburis this week.

The new British jewellery brand offers consumers a range of fashion designs and customisable pieces.

The debut range, Kaftan, depicts traditional architectural shapes and patterns within fashion garments, synonymous with the designer’s home country, Turkey.

The Kaftan Collection is made up of four key pieces including the Thrones ring and necklace alongside the Sunshine ring and necklace. The collection embraces CAD and 3D printing technologies and each of the pieces is printed directly in plastic, brass or silver with the option of a 14ct or 18ct gold plated finish.

“I was inspired by elements of architecture and fashion from my Turkish heritage and wanted transform and simplify these influences into a contemporary jewellery collection,” comments brand founder Mine Bilgutay-Ozkurt. “By taking traditional forms and shapes and re-working them using modern day CAD technology, we have created an innovative collection that mixes the old with the new.”

Anburis also offers customisable jewellery in the form of its notable Eternity rings. Each bespoke design fuses together two words or names – one read across the top of the shank and one beneath the shank – signifying a partnership.

The personalised Eternity rings are available in a range of metals and finishes including: silver; gold plated silver; 14ct rose, white and yellow gold as well as 18ct yellow gold.

Both the ready-to-wear and bespoke collections are available for wholesale and Anburis is currently seeking suitable retail partnerships.
