How would you describe your jewellery insurance solutions?

Always tailoring our solutions to meet the specific needs of jewellers, we offer a wide portfolio of insurance solutions and risk management advice.

From the largest retailer, manufacturer or wholesaler, to the individual working diligently at their peg, we are able to provide the exact coverage that they need.

We even work with jewellers to insure the items they sell to customers and offer a full portfolio of home insurance, at a range of levels.

Jewellers earn commission from each sale, and benefit from repair and replacement business if a claim is made.

TH March also offers a full range of personal protection products, as well as Cash Plans — which are great options when finding ways to put money in your employees’ pockets in the most economical way for the business.

 

What other services do you offer to retailers?

We have two categories of market-leading schemes to offer insurance to customers: March Guard — a point of sale certificate scheme, with guaranteed replacement or repair through the introducing jeweller; and March Plus — a referral scheme for higher value items.

Retailers and their customers can benefit, while jewellers can maximise on the increase in footfall by earning commission on specialist insurance.

 

Can jewellery insurance be a money-maker for retailers?

Many insurers now have centralised replacement schemes.

We believe it is important for the customer to continue to deal with the jeweller from whom they made the purchase.

This enables the jeweller to benefit from the repair or replacement, albeit they will need to offer a small discount to the insurer.

Furthermore, under both our March Guard and March Plus schemes the introducing jeweller will earn a commission on the initial policy, and a further commission every time a March Plus policy is renewed.

In an increasingly competitive market, customer loyalty is more important than ever. Many jewellers pride themselves on establishing trusted relationships with regular customers.
