Carat* London gains more high footfall retail locations in Hong Kong.
Carat* London is growing its retail presence in Asia with key store openings in Hong Kong, Bangkok Shanghai, taking the total number of locations up to 19.
Its most recent opening in Hong Kong shopping mall, Times Square, plants the brand firmly in one of the most sought-after shopping districts in the region.
The company is also in the process of opening two new shops in the K11 shopping mall and SOGO department store, both high footfall locations in Hong Kong.
Carat* London’s Chinese operation has three further openings in the pipeline, including boutiques at Xintiandi shopping centre and SOGO department store in Shanghai, and one at Bangkok’s Central World shopping complex. This will bring the company’s store count in the region to 19.
Chief executive officer Scott Thompson says: “The business has grown significantly for us in the UK and our Hong Kong/China markets and we believe our presence in Asia benefits our growing UK and continental European business with Chinese tourists travelling further and wider than ever before thus further reinforcing the brands international presence. We’ve been doing this for almost 11 years now and I can finally say we are at a point where CARAT * is truly starting to reach its potential in the bridge jewellery market.”
