The owner of a jewellers in Norfolk is looking for someone to take over the lease of the store as he makes plans to move overseas.
Ross Chapman has put J Metcalf Jewellers in Fakenham up for sale and has launched a search for someone to take over the business by the end of the summer.
As reported in Fakenham Times, Chapman is looking to move abroad after running the store in Upper Market Place for the last two years.
It has been a jewellers since 1996.
Speaking to Fakenham Times, he said: “We’re known for our repairs and people in the town trust us with their valuable jewellery and watches, so it’s a shame to be leaving Norfolk.”
He added: “We’ve been there for two years and it has taken time to get the shop how I wanted, whoever takes over the lease has a great opportunity.”
The newswire also reported that leftover stock will be available to buy before Chapman leaves the UK.
