Independent retailer Kohatu + Petros has announced it will be closing its boutique on Chiltern Street, London, by the end of September 2015.

The business, owned and operated by Varney Polydor and Joanna Salmond, has been operating for 10 years, focusing on semi precious gemstone jewels and collections by a handful of guest designers and brands.

An official statement says: “As a small independent business we have been passionate and committed. Our decision to close is not a reflection of our business, it is a lifestyle decision that we have both made after much consideration.

“During the last ten years we have had the pleasure of creating and showcasing beautiful jewellery. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with you and the relationship we have forged and would like to extend a huge thank you for your loyalty and support.”
