A Pandora boutique in Poole in Dorset has been burgled, with a number of culprits getting away.
Dorset Police are appealing for witnesses and information from the public after apprehending only one of several burglars at the scene.
Police received a report at around 9.30pm on Sunday, 15 August of a burglary at Pandora in the Dolphin Shopping Centre.
It is alleged that a group of men forced entry to an area behind Kingland Crescent, before entering the shop and stealing a large quantity of jewellery, police revealed.
It is reported that the group ran away towards a nearby railway line.
One man, aged 39 and of no fixed abode, was reportedly arrested on suspicion of burglary and is currently assisting officers with their enquiries.
Other members of the group were seen to leave the scene in a dark people carrier. Some of the stolen jewellery has been recovered, Dorset Police reported.
Police constable Sarah Hodgson, of Dorset Police’s priority crime team, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area around the relevant time to please come forward.
“I would urge motorists to please check their dashcams for any footage that may assist my enquiries.”
