Scottish jeweller Rox has announced the closure of its Silverburn store.
After eight successful years inside the Silverburn shopping centre in Glasglow, the boutique has now closed as it hunts for a larger space to present its growing range of jewellery and watches.
In a statement the company said: “Unfortunately, we have outgrown our tiny, little boutique in the mall. As one of the founding boutiques, we’ve enjoyed great success at Silverburn as Rox has grown into one of the UK’s most inspiring and exciting British luxury jewellers.
“Since 2010, we have been actively seeking larger shop formats that allow us to offer our total ‘Diamonds & Thrills’ experience. Our new format stores feature Laurent-Perrier champagne bars, private lounges and extensive display space. Unfortunately, we don’t have the space in Silverburn to offer our shoppers that experience.
“The boutique has served Rox and our customers well over the years. We would like to thank all of our loyal Silverburn shoppers for their custom. This is an exciting time for Rox with the launch of our in-house designed jewellery collections so we are looking forward to 2016.”
Rox offers an extensive collection of diamond engagements rings, fashionable silver jewellery and luxury watches. The boutique also offers an branded pieces alongside its own jewellery range, including Links of London, Michael Kors and Emporio Armani.
The boutique has two other stores in Glasglow which will remain open. These are located in Argyll Arcade and Braehead shopping centre.
