Birmingham jewellery company expects sales to hit £35m by 2017.
The WB Creative Jewellery Group is expecting its sales to increase 45% over the next five years as the group focuses on British manufacture.
In an interview with the Financial Times, WB Creative Jewellery Group chairman Patrick Fuller said that he expects sales to rise from an expected £24 million this year to £35 million in 2017.
Part of the company’s strategy for growth has been transforming its business so that it is set up to offer retailers and designers smaller batch sizes with quick turnaround times. It has invested £1.5 million over the past three years in new machinery to make this possible and is working with more British-based suppliers to cut lag times on orders.
