Laings opens new Patek Philippe section in Glasgow store

Luxury family jeweller's new space will reflect strong ties with Swiss-watch brand

Laings has unveiled a new Patek Philippe area within its flagship store in Glasgow.

The luxury jeweller has built a dedicated section for the Swiss-watch brand, located on the ground floor of the shop.

The new area channels the luxury and elegant aesthetic that people have “come to expect” of the Swiss watchmakers.

A hanging mirror reflects the historical design of Laing’s Rowan House building, blending tradition with modern refinement.

A Patek Philippe lightbox within the marble façade creates a sense of ambiance, as well as proving a focal point for visitors.

Crema Marfil Marble and Emperador Dark Marble were used in the room’s construction, lending a sophisticated look to the area.

On the new Patek Philippe section, managing director of Laings said: “Our enduring relationship with Patek Philippe, spanning over two decades, is a testament to the exceptional service and client satisfaction that we at Laings pride ourselves on.

“It is an honour to bring the people of Glasgow the unparalleled craftsmanship of this iconic brand. We are excited to welcome clients to our new showroom, where they can experience the historic complications and innovative evolution that define Patek Philippe.”

Laings Glasgow is also housing the Patek Philippe Exhibition Collection, from July 30 to August 2.

Some of 2024’s most anticipated timepieces will be displayed alongside more classic models, with clients given the chance to try them in the showroom.

Last month, Laings opened its doors in the newly-renovated B-listed Rowan House on Buchanan Street, following £5 million in investment.

The full Laings showroom covers 7,000 square feet across two floors of retail space.
