Buunt was announced as the winner of the Jewellery Brand category at the Professional Jeweller Awards 2025 last night (7 Oct).

The Jewellery Brand category marks the successful new store openings, store designs, or store refurbishments in the last 12 months. Bricks-and-mortar continues to be a difficult field for success, however, there have been numerous accounts of retailers and brands doubling down on in-store sales by investing big in expansion and refurbishment.

Harriet Whitaker, editor of Professional Jeweller, presented the award on the night.

Buunt sets itself apart by challenging mass production and creating jewellery that is not just there to be worn, but to be experienced. Each piece signifies a union of craft and colour, combined with the revolutionary use of traditional Japanese metalworking techniques shows its innovation.

Finalists in the Jewellery Brand category were:

  • Babette Wasserman Jewellery
  • Couer de Lion
  • Freya Rose
  • Heulwen Lewis
  • Hueb
  • Karina Choudhrie
  • Lauren Ralph Lauren Jewellery
  • Myriam Soseilos Fine Jewellery
  • ORA Pearls
  • Rauschmayer Jewellery
  • Robinson Pelham
  • Sif Jakobs
