The grading of coloured diamonds is conducted by a team of highly specialised GIA gemmologists according to GIA’s grading system for colour, which ranges from faint to fancy vivid. This presentation led by Mehdi Saadian introduces the world of coloured diamonds and provides an insight into the colour grading system.

Co-founder and MD of jewellery chain Argenteus, Ian Middleton, shares how his company went from humble beginnings to a multi-million pound operation and why they chose to withdraw from the High Street in 2014. Middleton talks about his disquiet over mega-brands, commercial leases and business rates, and the future for independent retailers.
